Students at Riverside have the opportunity to be recognized for their hard work and achievements through a variety of awards presented at the end of the school year. These awards are:
Golden Eagle-The Golden Eagle award is granted to recognize exceptional citizenship, by always being SAFE, RESPECTFUl, & RESPONSIBLE.
Exemplary Attendance-The Exemplary Attendance Award recognizes students with 97% attendance by maintaining 5 or fewer absences, showing true commitment to learning.
Academic and Growth-The Academic and Growth Award honors students who have shown significant progress, persistence, and a strong growth mindset during the school year.
Educational Achievement-President's Award for Educational Achievement is a 6th grade award. Recognizes students who demonstrate outstanding educational growth, improvement, commitment, or intellectual development.
Educational Excellence-President's Award for Educational Excellence Is a 6th grade award. Recognizes students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and meet specific criteria like maintaining a high GPA or achieving high scores on standardized tests.
Eagle Promise-Eagle Promise is a 6th grade award. This award is designed to recognize a student that exemplifies and embodies the characteristics of being a Riverside Eagle. The students selected for this award show multiple strengths and talents that will likely continue through the future.
Eagle Award-The Eagle Award recognizes students who achieve personal goals in academics, community & home, physical, and social growth. Students meet grade-specific criteria to earn this honor. The requirements for each grade level are below.
